This volume comprises of twenty-six papers presented at a seminar during March 17 through 19, 1990.
This book deals with topics such as emptiness or absence of own-being, and dependent origination and presents an understanding of Nirvana as methodical anticipation of the modern day science in Buddhism.
The editors own paper, “Madhyamika ‘Sunyavada’ (A philosophy that represents the middle way of the Buddha that upholds the doctrines of Impermanence (Anityata) is called Madhyamika)” is a philosophical note and a bibliographical survey of the studies on “Sunyavada”.
